This intimate spot has long been a destination for diners in the know: incredible food, an impressive wine list, pleasant atmosphere and lake views are all part of the Lakefront experience. Chef de Cuisine Frederic Pierrel, trained at the Lycée Hôtelier et Culinairer in Gerardmer, France, blends the classic French style with regional influences from his native Alsace, the Eastern Sierra, and around the globe.

Cooking Classes, Dining, events, consultingLocally grown produce is artfully paired with a seafood terrine or smoked trout for a delectable starter. Favorite main courses include a mixed game selection or a pan-seared veal tenderloin and sea scallops. Desserts are something to be savored; follow a wild blueberry tart or a nougat glace with a rich glass of port. The Lakefront also has a full bar.

The Lakefront's acclaim has spread beyond the region. The restaurant and chef have garnered praise from such noted sources as Bon Appetit, Sunset, the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Although the incredible offerings on Lakefront’s menu are enough to titillate, the true treat is 6-8 daily specials including the freshly flown in fish – which cannot be written in advance! (Lunch Menu, Dinner Menu, Wine List)
